SILF - The Swedish National Association of Purchasing & Logistic for swedish purchasers and logisticians (https://www.silf.se/in-english/) - has developed a deck of slides on sustainable procurement.
« We turn expertise into sustainable profitability » is the tagline for SILF since more than 10 years. The 60+ year old association helps professionals develop skills related to procurement and logistics. It is linked internationally to the standards and organizations of IFPSM – International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management and ELA – European Logistics Association. Each year thousands of stakeholders attend one of the many trainings anad events organized by SILF.
Trainings related to Sustainable Public Procurement, and Environmental And Social Aspects of the Supply Chain, have been offered for many years. Today SILF instead offers an open free for all training material (deck of slides) in Swedish that aims to be a basic introduction to sustainable procurement for all interested parties.
