Jacques SCHRAMM is the founder and CEO of A2 Consulting, a management Consulting company specialized in transformation of organizations, today with about 100 people operating mostly in France. Jacques has 35 years of experience in business transformation, including 10 years in sustainable procurement.
This activity is made in cooperation with an international consulting network “Sustainable Procurement Mentor’s (SPM)”, built on ISO experts having contributed to the ISO 20400 project, which gathers international expertise and add capacities to operate internationally for large international corporations.
Jacques has been the chairman of ISO PC 277 in charge of developing the new ISO 20400 “sustainable procurement” standard, which has been published in april 2017. He conducted this work with a wide international participation (52 countries, official links with OECD, United Nations, European Commission…).
Jacques chairs since 2016 a new AFNOR standardization commission “Achats et Relations d’Affaires” in charge of coordinating in France international standards relating to procurement:
- ISO projects: sustainable procurement, facilities management, collaborative business relations,
- And procurement of services (new CEN project).
Besides that, he will contribute from 2017 on to promoting the new ISO 20400 standard mostly in France, abroad too. To accomplish that in France he works closely to important stakeholders: AFNOR, Mediation inter-entreprises, Pacte PME, procurement professionals associations, the French government, the French NCP of OECD, universities, representatives from corporations…
He chaired before that (2010-2012) the French AFNOR standardization group that led to the NFX 50 135 sustainable procurement standard. This French standard was used as an important input for building the new ISO 20400 standard.
He co-founded ObsAR in 2010, which is today the only French NGO specialized in sustainable procurement, with today more than 100 members, mostly in the private sector.
He graduated from HEC.
