My current role has responsibility for all the financial services within the University including strategic procurement, income, payments, financial systems, payroll and insurance, and the University in ranked at number 2 in the world and has a combined turnover of over £1 billion. The role covers responsibility for a hundred people across the University.
I am a seasoned procurement and logistics professional with over 40 years’ experience of working at a strategic level in large complex organisations within government and the commercial sector and have a particular interest in sustainability and how it impacts the global supply chain. I have worked on sustainable procurement projects on a pan-European basis working with governmental organisations across Southern and Northern cities around developing different modes of transport and how this can improve air quality and influence shifts in the marketplace with both manufacturers and consumers.
