Laura is Deputy Head of DNV’s ESG Supply Chain Sustainability practice in London, and has over ten years of experience in advising clients on material sustainability risks and opportunities with a focus on ESG due diligence in the supply chain and independ ent assurance over ESG data & claims.
Laura worked extensively in the metals and mining sectors, leading on the ground site assessments. She is an approved Aluminium
Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Lead Auditor and Auditor for the ResponsibleSteel Standard. She led independent assurance engagements for
a number of DNV’s clients, including assessments and assurance engagements against ASI, OECD, LME, CSDDD, CSRD/ESRS, IRMA,
ICMM, ISAE3000, GRI, ISO 14064.
She acts as independent Assessor/qualified Auditor for these projects, with a combined audit days experience of 500+ man days ons ite .
Through this work, Laura built a robust understanding of key human and labour rights risks, and works with leading companies to mitigate
them Laura is on the Assurance panel of Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI), has contributed to the drafting of the ResponsibleSteel
Assurance Manual as Technical Partner to the Secretariat. She has led DNV global accreditation for the scheme and has been wo rki ng with
clients to coordinate audits as the service is scaled.
Laura is managing large scale digital assurance projects for our cosmetic clients, including L’Oréal Group, collecting raw mater ial and
compliance information from the supply chain (Tier 1 5.) to support clients in achieving and maintaining their Cruelty Free Inte rnational
Leaping Bunny approval.
